How We Deliver

Whether you’re in the city, at the cottage, or on a rural property, we have three reliable delivery methods to ensure your shed arrives safely and is placed exactly where you need it.

Truck & Trailer Delivery

This is our standard delivery method and works best when there’s clear, level access to your site.

How it works:
We back the truck and trailer directly onto your property and roll the shed off into position.

Best for:

  • Driveways

  • Open yards

  • Sites with wide gates or road access

Tip: Please make sure your site is accessible and free from low branches, tight turns, or overhead wires.

Mule Delivery (Shed Mule)

When a truck and trailer can’t reach your shed pad, we use a Shed Mule a small, powerful machine that lifts and wheels your shed into place.

How it works:
We offload the shed near your property and use the Mule to carefully move it across grass, gravel, or narrow access points.

Best for:

  • Tight backyard spaces

  • Cottages

  • Steep driveways

Minimal lawn damage, precise placement, and fast!

Note: The Shed Mule must be requested and booked prior to delivery, as our driver does not always have it on the truck. If Mule delivery is required, an additional fee will apply.

Crane Delivery

For hard-to-reach properties, rooftops, or enclosed backyards, a crane is sometimes the best (or only) option for placing your shed.

How it works:
You’ll need to arrange and book the crane service directly with a local crane company. Once you have your crane booked, we’ll coordinate the shed delivery time to ensure everything arrives seamlessly on the same day.

Best for:

  • Onto raised platforms

  • Over fences or buildings

  • Tight city lots with no rear access

Note: We do not book or supply the crane, but we’ll work with you to make sure the delivery and crane arrive at the same time for a smooth and efficient drop.

If you’re unsure which delivery method is right for your property, feel free to send photos of your site (driveway, gate, path to the shed pad, etc.) to your closest Kodiak location, and we’ll help you determine the best option.
